MANY TYPES OF SHACKLES

A shackle, is a U-shaped metal piece locked through the gap with a clevis pin or bolt, or a hinged metal loop locked with a lever for fast release locking pins. The shackles are used as slings, chains, ropes, and wire rope connectors. Since the pins in them are interchangeable, they are an essential feature in mounting, towing, raising, hoisting and pulling applications for a range of occupations.

ANCHOR SHACKLE

The most popular style is the anchor shackle, and it comes with different pin options.

It has a Bell-shaped look (or an O-shaped look) and is widely used on the inside of the shackle body due to the greater area. This makes more room for the object to which it is linked.
